Pastor Ray Brown

Ray Darrell Brown, Sr., serves as the visionary leader of Resurrection Baptist Church. Born in Heidelberg, Germany, as the third of five children to Rev. Aristide Sr. and Mary J. Brown, Pastor Brown’s spiritual journey began early. He accepted his call to ministry at just nine years old, demonstrating a remarkable devotion to God’s work.

After graduating from Sam Houston High School in San Antonio, Texas, Pastor Brown pursued a degree in Theology at Bishop College in Dallas. In 1989, while still in college, he was called to pastor Live Oak Baptist Church in Nacogdoches, Texas. A year later, in July 1990, he accepted the role of Lead Pastor at the newly established Resurrection Baptist Church in Schertz, Texas, where his transformative leadership continues to leave a lasting impact
