Resurrection Church Youth Ministry is helping students begin the new school year with confidence, community, and the love of Christ.

Join us for a special weekend featuring a community shoe drive, the Level Up Empowerment Pep Rally, and free haircuts and basic braids for students.

Shoe Drive

Now through Sunday, August 9

Help us bless local students by donating a new pair of shoes. To provide a variety of sizes, please select the shoe size assigned to the first letter of your last name.

Shoe Size Assignments

Last Name Begins With: Shoe Size to Bring

A–C Youth: Size 11–13

D–F Youth: Size 1–2

G–I Youth: Size 3–4

J–L Youth: Size 5

M–O Youth: Size 6

P–R Youth: Size 7

S–U Adult: Size 8

V–W Adult: Size 9–10

X–Z Adult: Size 11–12

All donated shoes will be distributed during the haircut and shoe giveaway on Sunday, August 9.

Level Up Empowerment Pep Rally

Saturday, August 8
2:00 PM–5:00 PM

Students and families are invited to an afternoon of encouragement, worship, music, and practical resources designed to help students start the school year strong.

Topics will include:

IEP and 504 plans
Teacher communication
Mental health

Free Haircuts, Basic Braids & Shoe Giveaway

Sunday, August 9
11:00 AM–3:00 PM

Students can receive a free haircut or basic braids and select a pair of donated shoes while supplies last.

Important: Students receiving basic braids must arrive with their hair shampooed and blow-dried.

Open to students of all ages and grade levels.

Whether you donate shoes, attend the pep rally, or bring a student to the haircut and shoe giveaway, your participation will help students enter the new school year feeling prepared, encouraged, and supported.
