What Should I Expect When I Visit?
At Resurrection, we feel it's OUR responsibility to "tear down walls and build bridges" for you. We want you to experience inspiring gospel music, encouraging messages, sound biblical teaching, and friendly people – resulting in an enjoyable Spirit-filled worship.
Here is a quick look at what you can expect from your visit and experience with us.
YOUR RBC VISIT
Attire: At RBC we’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. It's very important to us that you feel comfortable, so every 4th and 5th Sunday is our "dress down" day, but you're welcomed to dress-down on any Sunday you choose. So, like our more seasoned members, you pick the Sunday that you want to dress "churchy" or casual, and you'll surely fit right in.
Arrival:
Making your first visit to RBC easy, starts the moment you drive onto the RBC campus. There are two entrances from Live Oak Road. As a first-time guest, just blink your lights or tell one of our friendly parking attendants you're a first-time visitor and they will quickly guide you into a special guest parking spot.
Assistance: At Resurrection, we assure you that the first face you see, as you enter our parking lot or approach the church building, will have a smile on it. Whether you're in need of safe childcare or are looking for an exciting place for your teens, a helpful greeter or information booth staff person will be nearby to help direct you to the right venue.
Acknowledgement: Upon entering our worship center, our friendly ushers will seat you in any area of your choice. Now, just in case you may be concerned if you'll have to introduce yourself or say a few words - not to worry. At the start of our worship service, we will only ask you to identify yourself (by raising your hand) so we can give you an RBC Welcome Packet. The packet is full of useful information about RBC along with Visitor Response and Worship Evaluation Cards. At the end of the worship service, if you'll stop by the media booth (in the lobby), we'll give you a complimentary CD or cassette (your choice) of the service. Also, we would really like to know more about you and what you thought of the service, so please take a moment to fill out those response and evaluation cards. You can drop them in the offering container or drop them off at the information booth on your way out.
YOUR RBC EXPERIENCE
Music: Be prepared to enjoy a blend of contemporary and traditional gospel music. With various talented choirs, exceptional musicians, and a praise ensemble that is always focused on ushering in the Spirit of God, you won't be disappointed in the music selections.
Message: No matter which Sunday you decide to attend you will always receive an “A” message from Pastor Brown. Each message is prayerfully prepared and passionately delivered. Biblical truths are presented in an easy to grasp format and often with practical humor focused at helping you deal with your daily real-life issues. We'll even provide you with a sermon outline, with Bible passages, to help you follow the sermon. So whether you join us in our early morning (7:45) service or our mid-morning (10:45) service, the message you hear this Sunday, will carry you through your entire week.
Ministries: With more than 50 ministries on operation at RBC, we're confident that we have a ministry that's suited to meet the needs of you and your family. If you're interested in viewing some of our ministries, click RBC Ministries for brief descriptions.
Memorable: Whether you're new to the area or if it's just been a while since you've visited with us, Resurrection has you in mind! We know you have more than enough to think about when you're visiting a new church, for the first time. We genuinely want your experience with RBC to be enjoyable and memorable. Therefore, we hope that getting some of this "stuff" out of the way now, will encourage you to come join us this Sunday, as well as help you to more easily connect with us. We earnestly desire that you and your family may receive the full hope and encouragement that God has for you.
Additional notes: We start our Sunday morning services promptly on time, so be sure to arrive a bit early to get your choice of seating in the Worship Center. However, if you're running late, don't worry we'll still have a great seat for you in our overflow room.
Also, if you have an infant that you prefer to keep with you during the worship service, we have a convenient "nursing mother" and "cry room" where you can care for your little ones and still enjoy the worship experience.
If you have questions that we have not answered here, please call the RBC office at 210.658.0459 or email us admin@myRBConline.com.
We look forward to meeting you soon.
