Ray. D. Brown Sr. was born in Heidelberg Germany on August 28, 1964 to Pastor Aristide Sr., and Mary Jane Brown.  At age five he confessed Christ and was baptized at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in San Antonio Texas.  As a member of Tree Mount Temple Baptist Church, where his father was the Pastor, he accepted his calling to preach at age nine and was licensed in July 1974 to preach the gospel.  Pastor Brown was ordained on Feb 28, 1982 at Tree Mount Temple Baptist Church,where he also served as Minister of Music. 

Pastor Brown attended Bishop College in Dallas, Texas where he majored in theological studies.  He also attended Southwestern Theological Seminary in Ft Worth, Texas.  He served for three years as Youth Pastor and Minister of Music at the Greater Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Dallas Texas. 

Pastor Brown later answered the call to render pastoral leadership at the Live Oak Baptist Church in Nacogdoches, Texas.  During his tenure there he served faithfully as an elected official on various boards and commissions. 

On July 1, 1990, Pastor Brown assumed leadership of the Resurrection Baptist Church, which at the time consisted of approximately 70 families.   Under his leadership and direction of the Holy Spirit, RBC has grown to a membership today of over 3000.

The anointing of the Lord upon Pastor Brown is evident as God has bountifully blessed his ministry.  He travels extensively conducting revivals, workshops, seminars, and preaching in national conferences. 

Pastor Brown has three sons – Ray Jr., Tremond (T.J.), and Spencer.
